Fill it deeper than you think.
Cassava clumps by wrapping liquid in starch. It needs enough litter underneath to finish the job before the liquid reaches the pan.
Fill shallow and urine hits the bottom, where it sets against the plastic instead of forming a free clump. That is the single most common reason people struggle with plant-based litter — and it is entirely fixable.
- Pour 3 inches (7 cm) minimum. Deeper is better in a multi-cat home — 4 inches is not too much.
- Scoop once or twice a day. Clumps firm up within a few minutes; there is no need to wait longer.
- Top up weekly. Add fresh litter to bring the bed back to depth. Depth is what keeps it working.
- Switching over? Go 25% → 50% → 100% across 7–10 days if your cat is sensitive to change.

We would rather lose a sale than have you open the bag expecting something else.
It feels like fine sand, not pellets.
Cassava granules are roughly 2 mm — soft, sand-like, and much finer than wood or paper pellets. Most cats take to it immediately because it feels like what they would dig in outdoors. The trade-off is that fine granules travel: some will leave the box on your cat’s paws. This is not a low-tracking litter, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. A deep mat outside the box handles most of it.
The clumps are genuinely hard.
That is the point — hard clumps do not crumble into the clean litter, so a bag lasts longer. It also means a flimsy plastic scoop will fight you. Use a metal or rigid scoop and it takes one pass. And keep the bed at 3 inches so clumps form above the pan, not against it.

At just 1–2% of the mix, it is a crushed mineral, not a dye and not a fragrance. Volcanic rock is porous, so it traps odour molecules inside the granule rather than covering them with perfume. Together with baking soda, it is what does the work on ammonia.
The rest is cassava
Cassava starch, quartz sand and baking soda make up the remainder. Four ingredients, all listed on the bag — no added colour, no added scent, nothing you need a chemistry degree to look up.

One bag, five to seven weeks, two cats
12 kg is 26 lb of litter. Most two-cat households refill every five to seven weeks. One cat, considerably longer.
About five to six small bags in one
The standard plant-based litter bag in the US is around 5 lb. This is 26 lb — five to six of them, in one delivery, with nothing to reorder in between.
Shipping is $0, not “free over $99”
Most brands put free shipping behind a minimum. There is no minimum here and no shipping line at checkout — it is already in the price.
Coverage depends on box size, number of cats, and fill depth. Fill to 3 inches and a bag goes further than a shallow box would suggest.

What is independently verified: our tofu litter has been tested by CTI (Centre Testing International), a CNAS-accredited, ILAC-MRA recognized lab in Qingdao — report dated April 2026, run on a 2.4 kg sample. That report covers the tofu formula, not this cassava bag, so we are not attaching their numbers to a product they did not test.
